Sunrise in the East, we reunite in Guangzhou to showcase the most beautiful demeanor!
Among them, “Sunrise in the East” was composed by the well-known composer Li Haiying, with lyrics by Zhu Hai. The song’s title perfectly matches the brilliant sun image above the five rams in the Guangzhou Asian Games emblem, reflecting the sporting spirit of overcoming difficulties to achieve victory. At the same time, it carries the meaning of the Asian Games torch being passed down from generation to generation, never to be extinguished.
“Reunion” was composed by Lao Zai, with lyrics by Xu Rongkai. The title “Reunion” highlights that the Asian Games is not only a sporting event for Asia but also a grand quadrennial gathering of friendship for Asian brothers and sisters. Although Asia is vast, the deep friendship between the people of Asia shortens the distance between one another.
“The Most Beautiful Demeanor” was composed by the famous Hong Kong composer Peter Kam (Jin Peida), with lyrics by the well-known Guangzhou musician Chen Xiaoqi. The song skillfully integrates the imagery of a “sea of flowers” with the “sports meet,” showcasing the style of Guangzhou as the “City of Flowers” and the host city of the Asian Games, as well as the theme of “Harmonious Asia, Passionate Celebration.”
