A few days ago, I "broke" my computer by messing with some settings. I spent all day yesterday struggling with it, but to no avail. Today, I took it to the specialty store for repair, and in less than three minutes, it was fixed!.....
Symptoms:
The computer could start, but the sharp "beep" that usually occurs before startup was gone. The mouse and keyboard did not light up, and the monitor showed no signal. In short, the host seemed to have stopped all communication with the outside world.
Actually, I already knew the reason before taking it to the shop for repair: it was because I had configured the BIOS incorrectly, which caused the host to stop outputting information. Flashing the BIOS should have resolved it. However, I only know how to perform a "soft flash." Since the computer could not process input or output information, I had no way to perform the flash myself.
I really regret not watching the technician perform the repair just now; otherwise, I could have learned a few tricks.
Now everything is back to normal, and the blog should resume regular updates. Thank you all for your continued support!
