Last month, I happened to discover that the domain kexue.fm was not yet registered. I thought it was quite good, so I registered it immediately.
In fact, I have always liked domains with the .fm suffix, because FM is also the abbreviation for radio stations. A website with a .fm domain gives a sense of relaxation, much like listening to the radio. It just so happened that I registered the domain kexue.fm, which I feel matches the name of this blog, “Scientific Space,” very well. It also aligns with the original philosophy of this blog: Make science popular—this also means that science will be as comfortable as listening to the radio. Of course, on the other hand, it is also easier to remember. The domain was registered about a month ago, but the record-filing process took nearly a month, so it is only now being added to Scientific Space. Now, the server for Scientific Space has also been migrated to Alibaba Cloud.
The original domain spaces.ac.cn will also be retained, and both domains will be accessible. In addition, readers who have applied for email addresses with the @spaces.ac.cn suffix do not need to worry; these email addresses will also be kept indefinitely.
Everyone is welcome to visit using the new domain ^_^
