I simply designed a logo for the blog. Although I say “designed,” it is actually just taking the integrand e^{\frac{i}{\hbar}S} from the path integral in quantum mechanics.
The main body of the logo is an “S,” which has several meanings. First, S is the beginning of the domain name for Scientific Spaces, and also the beginning of the English name Scientific Spaces; second, S is the conventional abbreviation for “Action” in physics, and Action is a physical representation I like very much; it is also the phase function in the path integral. Specifically, S is also the first letter of my surname “Su.”
Additionally, these letters separated have their own unique meanings. e is perhaps the most important constant in mathematics, \hbar is the symbol of quantum physics, S is the action in classical physics, and the imaginary unit i is the symbol of waves. This formula perhaps says that classical physics and quantum physics are connected in the form of waves through the most important mathematical constants. Furthermore, this form was first used by Feynman, who is the physicist I admire most.
I’ve been hanging out with the Publicity and Technology Department at the CCNU Radio Station for two years, but I still haven’t learned any sense of design. My design is still as bad as ever~
