In the world of education, February is a hot topic for Independent Recruitment. Various elite university independent recruitment examinations have begun in full swing this month. A few days ago, the exams for Shandong University and Fudan University’s “Thousand-Point Test” were already conducted. Tomorrow, both the “Beijing Alliance” and the “Huazhong Alliance” will hold their independent recruitment written tests. As a member of last year’s summer camp, BoJone also has the opportunity to participate in the written test for Peking University.
Since the exam starts at eight o’clock tomorrow morning, I have to set off a day in advance. Having looked at the questions from previous years and some mock exams, I know that the difficulty is significant, and I feel a bit apprehensive. After all, this is an exam akin to a “mini Gaokao.” However, my emotional fluctuations are not very large. In the past year or two, I have experienced a great deal (especially regarding exams), with occasional fragments of success, but more often failure. To me, the most important things are the experience and the journey. At every station of life, I stop and enjoy the scenery.
In fact, what truly brings happiness is not the grades, but the heartfelt devotion to science and the joy of achieving even a tiny, insignificant result for oneself.
