Following the small award I received in the Guangdong Provincial Astronomy Olympiad, I have always hoped to participate in the National Astronomy Olympiad, and now it can finally be realized.
Recently, I have been studying astronomy, including general knowledge and astrophysics. With my foundation in mathematics and physics, I have achieved some small successes. Everyone is welcome to discuss with me!
At the same time, I silently hope that the Astronomy Olympiad can continue to focus on friendship and participation, rather than turning it into a real “exam,” which would be harmful and useless! I recently heard that Amateur Astronomer is going to publish an “Olympiad Exercise Supplement,” and I personally hold an absolute objection! I don’t want to see astronomy become something that isn’t astronomy!
By the way, the Scientific Space Discussion Station will be launched soon, which will provide a concise and convenient communication platform for everyone. You will be able to ask all kinds of questions then! (The focus will be on astrophysics.)
