This will be my first time waiting all night for a meteor shower. If the observation is successful, it will be the first time I have ever observed a meteor shower—the Leonids.
According to predictions, this outburst will occur after 5:00 AM on the 18th, with a ZHR (Zenithal Hourly Rate) of at least 100.
The continuous rainy weather over the past two days had made me feel that hope was slim, but unexpectedly, the sun appeared this afternoon. Moreover, a rare clear sky emerged tonight—a sky full of stars, which made me incredibly excited! So, I decided to stay up all night and wait for the "rain"!
I checked the weather for today and tomorrow via the "Clear Sky Clock" (7timer), and it looks quite good.
