Since entering high school, my greatest dream on campus has been to popularize science and make it trendy! Therefore, I strive for every opportunity to conduct science popularization, such as establishing an astronomy club and organizing science classrooms. Unfortunately, I am the only one truly interested in and knowledgeable about science, so I have been fighting this battle alone. Nevertheless, I am still working hard and will not give up! I believe that one day, science will definitely become popular, just like the NBA!
This week, we are preparing to organize a science documentary film session. After searching for some science films online, my attention finally settled on this one: IMAX Cosmic Voyage.
Below are some introductions:

Original Title: IMAX Cosmic

The naked eye can only see a corner of the firmament. Gazing at the night sky, one sees only a scattering of stars, with an occasional meteor streaking across the darkness. But have you ever seen the final explosion of a star before its death? Staring at your hands, you might see specks of dirt, but have you ever seen the atoms that make up your skin vibrating? Because they are invisible to the eye, we can only use our imagination to explore this deep and vast universe.
Fortunately, imagination is not the only way to see the invisible. Cosmic Voyage combines state-of-the-art technology and the latest computer animation techniques to recreate the universe as known to humanity. In this film, you will participate in a soul-stirring journey that spans the entirety of time and space known to the scientific community—from quarks (the smallest particles that constitute matter) to the edge of the observable universe; from the Big Bang at the beginning of the universe to the civilized world of humanity today.
Technology undoubtedly helps us see many cosmic wonders, but many mysteries of the universe remain unsolved. While summarizing past scientific discoveries, the end of this dream journey may be the beginning of humanity’s true voyage through time and space. This film was nominated for the Best Documentary Short Subject at the 69th Academy Awards.
