Due to the limitations of traditional blogging, I wanted to record my daily moods and insights, so I have opened a Sina "Weibo" account.
I opened it using my previously registered email bojone@sina.cn. My

What is a Microblog?
A microblog (Weibo) can be understood as a "one-sentence blog." You can write what you see, hear, or think into a single sentence (no more than 140 characters), or post a picture, and share it with friends anytime, anywhere via computer or mobile phone.

The Situation of Microblogging in China
Abroad, microblogging shows vigorous vitality; even Obama uses Twitter. However, in China, while microblogging is loved by many for being simple and convenient, the content is too prolific, making management difficult. Consequently, many well-known or unknown microblogging sites have been blocked in China. I remember I initially used "Jiwai," but now I cannot log in normally. Some "loyal users" might find various "remedies" to log into the original sites, but of course, these methods are not perfect. For microblogging to truly become popular, management must be handled perfectly; otherwise, as soon as one is built, it will be blocked!
Some of the well-known blocked microblogs
include:
twitter.com
facebook.com
jiwai.de
fanfou.com
digu.com
Sina is one of the major portal websites in China. Its launch of Weibo this time will certainly play a significant role in promoting microblogging in China! Perhaps it will spark a "Microblogging Wave." Moreover, due to Sina’s strong technical strength, its stability can be guaranteed, making it less likely to be "harmonized" (censored).
