Since the 20th of last month, life seems to have a new starting point: I brought back three yellow-covered “Higher Mathematics” books from Zhuhai that are older than I am. This marked my formal and systematic introduction to higher mathematics. In just ten short days, my understanding of mathematics seems to have surpassed everything I knew before combined.
Now that school has started, after a week of military training, I have become familiar with my teachers and classmates. I borrowed several other higher mathematics books from my math teacher, as well as books on Mathematical Olympiads, mathematical methods, and so on. I am continuously advancing toward the palace of mathematics…
Within mathematics, I encountered physics again, which reignited my interest in relativity. I spent some time studying the Lorentz transformation and discovered that the world is truly wonderful (I do not understand why so many people are still unwilling to accept relativity). Thus, I am pressing on and attacking physics at the same time.
Additionally, in terms of language and literature, English must be strengthened. I remember a saying: “When you want to delve deeper, you will find that only English materials are available to read!” As for Chinese, I quite enjoy writing articles.
Personally, I can only say that I have changed a lot since starting high school. In particular, I have learned to cherish emotions—family ties, friendships, …While improving my IQ, I am also actively improving my EQ.
