On August 30th, I stepped into the gates of high school, beginning a three-year high school journey.
Because my grades were quite good, I was assigned to a so-called “key class.” The academic atmosphere in the class is extremely intense, which actually makes me a bit averse to it; I dislike the division between key classes and non-key classes. Fortunately, the headteacher is very humorous and friendly, bringing us a lot of laughter.
To prevent the H1N1 flu, the freshman military training originally scheduled for August 22nd was postponed, making military training our main task this week (and the weather... it was hot...).
After a few days of military training, on the evening of the 3rd, I watched a movie titled Charging Out of the Amazon, which was very moving. Some of the lines are quite classic: “We came here to prove that we are not cowards!”
Today, we had the drill performance; military training ended, school was dismissed, and I went home.
Overall, this week was quite happy. However, some regulations are unbearable, such as “no entering or leaving the dormitory after bedtime.” My goodness, doesn’t this completely restrict us from conducting astronomical observations? It seems I’ll have to find a way to resolve this situation...
