Explanation:
A spectacular sunrise with three “suns” appearing in the Bay of Gdańsk!
When do three “suns” appear simultaneously? Last month, on Friday, July 10, 2009, around 04:30 AM, this beautiful and magnificent triple sunrise spectacle took place in the Bay of Gdańsk, Gdańsk Voivodeship, Poland! In reality, only one sun rises every day, but certain optical phenomena can allow us to see two or even more “suns”—this is a mirage.
But how was the actual observation effect? The quality of mirage photography depends on the photographer’s skill and the camera’s quality. Nevertheless, the image above remains intriguing because the effect captured by the photographer makes it very obvious to the naked eye.
